The Educational Experience

Legacy Christian School seeks to leave a legacy with every child that pursues their education with us by incorporating many of the following experiences:

  • Teaching For Transformation - “ A TfT school pursues a Christian education that invites the people of God’s story into real work that forms self and shapes the world. “

  • Skill Based Education - Teaching our kids the value of work and providing pertinent skills for everyday living.

  • Critical Thinking - Allowing kids to problem solve and to think openly and critically to better prepare them for life outside the classroom.

  • Leadership Accountability - Partnering with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) with an annual membership, LCS will have access to professional guidance, accountability and continuing education resources.

  • Accredited School - The accreditation process is a lengthy one and can not be fully completed until the school has been in existence for some time, but we will be working with an approved accrediting body to receive our accreditation within 3 years of opening our doors.

FUTURE EDUCATIONAL GOALS

Although we can’t predict what the future will hold, we do have incredible hopes and dreams of what Legacy Christian School can become. As we grow, part of our long term strategic planning will include but not limited to (in no particular order):

  • Special Needs Staffing and Programming

  • Counseling Department

  • Marketing and Development Department

  • Sports Programs (see Sports Tab for our current solution)

  • High School Grades
